I painted these bees yesterday on 100-year-old paper from a book.
Today I sold this painting to a lady who asked me the name of each bee so she could tell her grandchildren.

Common Carder Bee
Red-Tailed Bumblebee

Me and my sister have been sewing tiny bees to sell at Southwold Green Fair tomorrow! We made a bumbleboard to display them on.

This painting is from my camping trip along the Suffolk Coast. The coast in this region is dotted with Martello towers. This one had been converted into a house.
